About us
Deutsche Akademie für traditionelles Yoga e. v. is a non-profit association with yoga centers located in Berlin, Dresden, Erlangen, Freiburg, Hamburg, Heidenheim, Munich, Nuremberg and Stuttgart. Being a member of ATMAN Association for Yoga and Meditation – an international umbrella organisation for yoga and meditation – ATMAN member organisations are located throughout Europe and around the world.
As an authentic traditional yoga organisation, our mission is to bring the beneficial effects and wisdom of the yoga system closer to the modern Western people. Therefore, we teach an authentic yoga tradition linked with scientific models of understanding (such as law of resonance), which is easily accessible to the Western mentality without losing any of its effectiveness or power.
We are passing on the wisdom among others in our ongoing Tantra Yoga, Yoga and Kashmir Shaivism classes as well as in regular events and retreats on topics such as Archetype of the Soul, Enneagram, Brahmacharya (sexual continence) and many more.
What is Yoga Summer Celebration all about?
Yoga Summer Celebration is a free open house event, for which we are opening the doors of our Mahayoga Zentrum in order to offer an insight into our organisation and its teachings. On this day, we will be offering workshops and lectures on different topics with practical and theoretical elements. Besides that, we will leave the space for participants to connect and enjoy the company of like-minded people.
The event is suitable for all the levels – beginners and advanced yogis are welcome.
